One of my new favourite place in Milan is Riad Food Garden for sure! And no wonder when you see the place. Minimalist combo of Scandinavian and Moroccan styles combined by perfect way.
It put me thinking how the style is actually builded up. As you are probably seen many Moroccan style interiors and normally them are filled up of those leather poufs etc. beni ourain carpets, lanterns, tiles and typically very colourful combined way. And Riad Food Garden is mainly just strongly black and white.
In first everyone probably will notice this cool Moroccan kind of door with black curtain. The ceiling gives its special feeling for sure too. Countertop on the desk is tiled by Moroccan tiles. Those Moroccan Tea pots and other small details on the tables, shelfs etc. White walls and black floor and tables are so Scandinavian style. Tolix chairs gives a bit French charm.
Perfect combo in my mind. Indeed. Nothing too much or nothing too less. Or maybe yes a bit less - this time Riad Food Garden was less with green plants and flowers, but if you google Riad Food Garden by pics, you can see pictures with lot of plants and flowers.
So it looks like a Cafe, but what else it is? Riad Food Garden serve healthy food and coffee, but there is available to buy also decoration items from Tine K brand, and flowers too! Cool combination! And there is a terrace too, which was pretty full of customers on the meantime which I wanted avoid by my lens ;)
I can just only recommend this place!
